To oversee the entire production from conception of the development stages to final post production until it is completed for broadcasting |

To look for funds and ensure that the project is kept within the funds allocated to the project |

|
To work closely with writers (head writer). To ensure all rights and agreement are taken care of |
|
To work closely with the director of project ; to discuss the idea, story and the development of the story. The producer needs to have the ability or the eye to also direct the project |

To work closely with the director to see that the director's idea is workable within the budget, time and human resources available |
| At Pre-production stage |
|
To plan Human Resources needed in order to accomplish the work within the deadline given. To ensure Human Resources employed are optimized and work within the deadline given. |
|
To plan and the pipeline and timeline of work from development stages to pre-production and to post |
|
To work closely with conceptual artist, illustrators, 3D animators and visual effects |
| Post Production |
|
To work closely with editors, music composers or recording studios to ensure rights are bought or secured for the project |
|
To have a wide based of networking in the service industry of music, audio, editing etc |
